582 MEETING -- JANUARY 6, 1941 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, January 6, 1941 at 9:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of $39.60 were approved and 3rdered paid. Mr. Zmudzinski presented a statictical report of the Street Department from January 1, 1940 to December 31, 1940. ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: Continuation certificates were received for the following bonds Norman Yd. Collmer, Edward L. Zimmerman, John G. Kestler and Joseph I.I. Hiznay, these certificated were approved and ordered filed. The Bendix Corporation made request for a curb cut on Nestmore St., at the entrance to their new plant. This cut is to be 24t wide. Their request was approved. CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Lisle McNabb, Sexton presented his report for the month of December, 1940, ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT: The Board accepted the bid of Scherman-Schaus-Freeman Co., of. •600.00 net, for one 1/2.to 3/4 ton Studebaker pick-up truck for the Electric Department The old 1931 Ford truck to be traded --in.
