Irarkin Co. yid l �6210.00 Gross <br />• <br />250.00 Trade-in allowance <br />5960.00 Net <br />Bid #2 $4475.00 Gross <br />100.00 Trade-in allowance <br />�4375.00 Net. <br />i <br />Korte Bros. $4235.00 GGross <br />275.00 Trade-in allowance <br />�53 60.00- Net <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: This being the date set, hearing .-,ras held on the assessment <br />• <br />roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of <br />vacation of. alley North of Fassnacht Ave,., from the 'Nest line of Brookfield Street <br />to the East line of the alley West of Brookfield Street, also from the 'Nest line of <br />the alley West of Brookfield Street to the East line of Johnson St., same being Vacation <br />Resolution No. 2 9'03. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of <br />notices and same were found.sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the <br />several lots and parcels of land have been benefited and dam -aged in the amounts <br />shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said <br />assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved <br />without modification and the proceedings closed and the alley vacated upon receipt <br />• <br />of the amount of benefits assessments from the various property owners so benefited <br />and all proceedings had with reference to said alley vacation are hereby sustained. <br />A contractor's bond in the amount of $1000.00 was received from the Eagle <br />Iridemnity Co., for the Austin Co. <br />Continuation certificates were received on excavation bonds for C. S. Randolph <br />and the Sibley Heating & Plumbing Co. These certificates'and bonds were approved and <br />ordered filed. <br />BUILDING <br />DEPART14ENT: <br />The Building <br />Department <br />presented their report for the <br />year 1940. <br />CMTETERY <br />DEPARTMENT: <br />Lisle McNabb, <br />Sexton, presented <br />his annual report ,for <br />the year 1940 <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 12:45 P.
