Truck Hire <br />184.10 <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Tony 2mudzinski, Street Commissioner was present <br />and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT** <br />DEDICATION <br />Whereas the following described plat with dedication of streets and alleys indicat- <br />ed thereon, is now presented to the Board: <br />• " The plat of Belleville Gardens, an addition to the City of South Bend, has been <br />approved by the Board of Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 15th day of <br />'aril 1940, and was recorded on Record #14, Bage B, in the records of St. Joseph <br />County, State of Indiana, on the 22nd day of April, 1940. <br />Block lettered D in said addition has been subdivided into 35 lots, numbered <br />26 to 60 inclusive. The set back line on Garden Lane and Parkway, with reference to <br />lots 26 6o 60 inclusive, shall not be less than 30 feet from the front property line <br />to the main ;mall of dwellings erected thereon; the set back line on Sample Street <br />with reference to lots 26 and 60 shall not be less than 10 feet from the South line <br />of Sarr.�Dle Street to the main wall of dwellings erected thereon; the set back line on <br />Dogwood Drive with reference to lots 41 and 42 shall not be less than 10 feet from the <br />North line of Dogwood Drive to the main wall of dwellings erected thereon, all of <br />which is indicated on the plat. <br />The following easements, as indicated on the plat, are hereby dedicated for use <br />of gas, electric Light and poorer, telephone and other public utility wires and lines; <br />A strip of land 8 feet in width, the center line of which is the East boundary <br />line of lots 26 to 41 inclusive 9n Block D and the West boundary of lots 42 to 60 <br />inclusive in Block D, extending from the South line of Sample Street, to the North <br />line of Dogwood Drive. <br />A strip of land 8 feet in width, the center line of which is the South boundary <br />of lots 27 and 59 in Block D and the North boundary of lots 28,+and 58 in Block D, <br />. extending from the East line of Garden Lane to the Jest line of Parknray. <br />The streets in said Block D, as indicated on the plat, are hereby dedicated to <br />the public for public use. <br />IN WITNESS 111 EREOF, Garden Homes, Incorporated, owners of the above described real <br />estate, has caused this instrument of dedication to be executed in its corporate name <br />by its President, and its corporate seal to be hereto attached, attested by its Secreta <br />this llth day of December, 1940, <br />GARDEN HOMES, INCORPORATED <br />Attest: <br />• (Signed) Achille C.
