532 <br />SPECIAL TelE `.L I11(r -- 31AHCHII 25, 1940 <br />On ?,''arch 25th, 1940 a special meeting of the Board of Public Vlorks and Safety <br />was called by all members at 9:10 P.T.A. for the purpose of entering into a contract <br />for the purchase of one Street -Flusher. <br />It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that a contract for the purchase <br />of one cab over engine Studebaker truce equipped with an 1800 gallon T6unicipal Supply <br />Company flusher, all in accordance with the plans and s ,ecif icazions adopted by the <br />Board and the proposal submitted by the Scher-nan-Schaus-Freeman Co-mpany for the sum <br />of <;4700.00. <br />This motion was made after all i ember. s of the Common Council had been advised of <br />the proposals submitted, and the Corznon Council had recommended that Studebaker <br />equipment be purchased. <br />There being; no further business to come before the'Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 9:20 P. y_. <br />rK. <br />MEETING -- APRIL 1, 1940 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public o-forks was held on 1.1onday, April 1, 1940 <br />at 9:00 A. 1', All members .were present. t: inutes of the last meeting were read and r <br />approved..
