'.delber, one of the officials of Robertson <br />Brothers Department Store, Inc., concern ope-r•ates a department store in the <br />building on South Ticli-;an St., appeared before the Board re;_urding alterations to <br />•the but. lding at this address. <br />This building extends from the alley on T:ichi:.an St. running; East and West <br />between Jefferson Blvd. and `;layne St, north 110,58 feet on the :^Yest side of Michigan <br />St. It ,Tas pointed cut that the pilasters of ,she present building extend out into <br />the street four inches, that they plan to remodel the building and cut.down the <br />encroachment so that the building as remodeled will extend into the street approxim:atel <br />2-1/2" They, therefore, ask permission of the Board to proceed rich the. work and <br />remodel the building according to these Mans. <br />on motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board now grants their <br />approval to remodel the building in acco =c_ance with these plans. <br />• Mr. Qualls presented a. reouest from the Indiana Bell Telephone Company for a <br />permit to, run their cable triru underground conduits, underground eLTori�, for which was <br />laid last year, therefore, only one Manhole is. now required, fich manhole will be <br />located in the parkway at Prairie Ave. and -Leon Court, which request is now granted <br />by the Board, subject to obtaining an excavation permit from the City Engineering <br />Department, y <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 12:15 P.
