<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public ;forks was held on TvTonday, February 5, 1940
<br />at 9:00 A. LT. All members were present. :.Kinutes of the last meeting were read and
<br />approved. Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of $511.98 were approved
<br />and ordered paid.

<br />It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that Ivlr. Zmudzinsr'i be authorized
<br />to purchase from the Indiana State Prison, one hundred (100) sets of street signs,
<br />less posts, for street designating purposes.
<br />The Street Commissioner was also authorized to pt:i?chase, one (1 } Standard #70
<br />Oliver Tractor at A867.30, as per proposal submitted August 4th, 19590 (See file on
<br />J_ for copy of proposal.)
<br />The following named gentlemen, representatives of various taxi -cab and city bus
<br />companies, were called into a meeting with the Board by R:fr. Ernest VTiller, Traffic
<br />Engineer, to discuss the various traffic and -parking problems connected with their
<br />business.

<br />The various problems were discussed and I:Ir. Miller, Traffic Engineer was instructed
<br />by the Board to wopk with these gentlemen in order" that some satisfactory solution of
<br />these_, problems might be reached.

<br />for the Oliver Farm Equipment Co;, which :ras approved and ordered filed.
<br />There being no further business to come wefore'the Board, the meeting adjourned. at
