<br />the possibilities ofa drive.-in;bus station -to eleviate the practice of pusses
<br />parking double in front of the now existing Union Bus Station and the bus station
<br />operated by Mrs. Gerard on S. Main St.

<br />I.Tr. YestiSsood, of the Greyhound Bus Lines advised that their company has been
<br />considering building a drive-in bus station for a year or more, and were at this
<br />time negotiating for a piece. of property for this purpose. Mr. Beamer asked that
<br />the Board be kept advised of their progress in the matter.
<br />Mrs. Gerard was advised to g,et in tw ouch -th the presidents of the lines she re-
<br />presents and contact the Board as soon as she heat's from them.
<br />CEMI TERY DEPART11EivT: Mr. Lisle McNabb was present and called the attention of
<br />the Board to the jsording of the signs at th- 3 cemetery ;=,rates, vihich" read "Cemetery
<br />open from 7:30 A,: D1. until 8:00 P.I.A." I.lr. I:1.c1-tabb called the attention of the Board
<br />to the fact that in the .sinter it is dark at 4:00 P. IT. and there would be`'little
<br />point in keeping the gates open until that time, therefore, the Board authorized"
<br />1;1r. 1: cNabb to char`e the signs to read "Gates open from 7:30 A. 1,711. until 8:00 P 'I ,
<br />except from November lst to !,;,arch lst, at which time they will be closed at 5:00 P.10.
<br />Starting February lst, the offices of the Controller, Building Department,
<br />Board of Public Works and Safety and the Engineering Department will remain open
<br />during the noon hour.
<br />There being no further business to core before the Board, the meeting adjourned
