<br />Central Polish Civic Organization were present and presented a plea for the installa-
<br />tion of a traffic light at the corner of `idashington and 1.1alnut Sts. The committee
<br />was advised that in preparing the budget, a traffic light for this intersection was
<br />c�ansidered, but upon final approval of the budget, this fund was omitted.
<br />✓f A claim presented by E. T. Tranberg, for damage to his car while driving on
<br />V'East Jefferson Sts., was rejected.
<br />ENGINEERING DEPARPMENT: ✓ Contination certificates on excavation bonds were approv d
<br />for tFie' fol owing p um ers: United Heating &Plumbing Company, Adolph Dutrieux & Co.,
<br />Samuel Slutsky, and Rocco Simeri.
<br />ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT: Mr. Qualls was present and matters pertaining to his d_e-
<br />/Partment were discussed.
<br />STREET DEPAR`.IMEIIT: The Street Commissioner was present and -matters pertaining
<br />to his department were discussed. Mr. Zmudzinski reported the receipt of 164.00 for us
<br />v6f the City grader at 406 S. Carroll St.
