The Clerk of the Board was directed to send the following letter to Mr.Genge <br />"I am very sorry to state that the decision of the Board was that no <br />garbage could be placed in any of the city dumps. However, if you wish, you <br />may dispose of your garbage at any of the farms that the Garbage Master has <br />or you can make arrangements to have the Garbage Master pick up your garb age <br />and dispose of it as he sees fit." <br />The Board acknowledged and approved of t he following, recoYnmendat ions submitted by <br />the City Plan Commission: <br />1. That parcels of land in the Lincoln Plaza Addition be accepted by the Board of <br />Public luorks for street purposes on Elwood Avenue and Kenmore Street, if and when they <br />are presented. <br />✓ 2. The proposal of "Ainnie D. Rerick, et al. to dedicate by deed to the City a par- <br />cel of land 40 feet wide along; the south side of the ;proposed center line of West Ewing <br />Avenue from Kaley Street to Dundee Street. <br />3. The proposal of Charles V . and Florence I:i. Carothers to dedicate by deed to the <br />City a parcel of land 27 feet wide south fromt he centerline of Keller St. and lying on <br />the west side of -�h:roposed centerline of Illinois Street for the purpose of making <br />Illinois Street/bidet' <br />and proposal of Raymond D. Kuespert and Ruth S.Kuespert covering <br />property on Illinois Street. <br />-14. The acceptance of deed or deeds of any land south of the above described parcel <br />to Bulla Street, which may be offered to increase Illinois Street to full 60 feet width. <br />V 5. A petition to vacate the alley south of Prairie Avenue between Dorothy Street <br />end the first alleJT west was referred back to the City Engineer by the City Plan Com- <br />mission for additional inforrn,-:ticn. <br />6. A petition for vacation of an a lley in Baker and i'IcHenry Addition between Louise <br />and Roberts Streets was approved by the City Plan Commission was was referred to the <br />Engineering Department for preparation of _clans and resolution. <br />The Clerk of the Board was authorized to have recorded any deeds received in con- <br />nection with the above r e co=endat ions of the City Plan Commission. <br />✓A petition for a street light at the intersection of Dubai! and Fellows Streets was <br />received and referred tD the Electrical Department for-nvestigation and report. <br />✓^1he Boar authorized Mir.
