A. Clark <br />Estate at the southeast corner of the intersection of U.S. highway 31 North and Peashw.ay <br />which report was ordered placed on file. <br />/Attorne�r 1�1. A. Slick submitted a sketch for driveway openings in front of his <br />property on Lincolnway East. The plain was referred to the Engineering Department for in <br />vestigation and report. 11r. Slick was requested to report to the Board at the next <br />regular meeting. <br />'Tjr. Qualls submitted a summary of the street 111-ht-.1g costs for the year 1938. A <br />breakdown of this year's sumrlary covers the number of lights in service, the type of <br />illumination, construction and rate of each; also the amount, of surplus funds anticipate <br />at the close of this fiscal year. <br />/LVIr. Qualls submitted a report on a petition for a street light at the intersection <br />of Elwood and Johnson Streets and Hr. Qualls' recommendation is that there is a light <br />now at the middle of the block between Elwood and Humboldt on Johnson and at the inter <br />section of Broomfield and Elwood and O'Brien and Elwood and that the; petition for in- <br />stallation of this light be rejected. Based upon the recor:ffnendation Q-f- Mr. Qualls, the <br />Board rejected the petition for a light at the intersection of Elwood. and Johnson. <br />A petition for re -allot ment of assessments on Improvement Assessment #2154--Fair- <br />view Avenue Local Sewer was considered by the Board.
