All members were -present. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved and claims from the follow <br />ing suppliers in the amount of $1805.55 were approved and ordered pa.id., also payroll <br />j of the various Departments amounting to 6341.41. <br />Indiana. Vincent to the first alley <br />north, was presented to the Board and referred to the Engineering Department for the <br />purpose of bringing in a Condemnation Resolution. This matter was referred to the <br />Engineering Department for their attention. <br />1Mr. Alex Bokor submitted a -plan for a filling station layout at Indiana Avenue <br />and.Scott. Btreets, showing cuts in curb. This plan was approved by the Board and Mr.Bokor was instructed to -_lace on file blue prints covering same.. <br />This being the date set hearing was held on the assessment roll .hoeing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of alley south of <br />Jefferson Street to a point 120 feet north, same being Vacation Resolution -No. 2494. <br />/In the above named assessment roll no remonstrators appeared and no written remons- <br />trances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submittedcmoofs of delivery of notices and - <br />same were found sufficient , and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and <br />parcels of land have been bEnefited and. damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The <br />Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares <br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro- <br />ceedings closed and the alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefits assessed <br />from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with reference <br />to said alley vacation are hereby sustained. <br />This being the date set hearing was had on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation -of alley west of <br />Lafayette Street from Indiana Avenue to a point 121 feet South, same being Vacation <br />Resolution No. 2495. <br />In the above named assessment roll no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- <br />strances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of delivery of notices and <br />same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and <br />parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The <br />Board., therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares <br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro- <br />ceedings closed and the alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefits assessed <br />from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with reference to <br />said alley vacation are hereby sustained. <br />✓This being the date set for continued hearing on Vacation Resolutions No. 2491,2492 <br />and 2493, Mr. C. E. Perkins having reported that easements on the property have not been <br />completed. The Board postponed final action on these resolutions for three weeks or <br />until June 13, 1938. <br />✓ communication was received from Councilman um. 5. James, asking that the Board <br />furnish information for public hearing giving an itemized statement of the various pro- <br />jects and detailed estimates of the materials, equipment, and supplies to be required fo: <br />each project. This matter was referred to Mr. Zillmer for attention. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10: 30 A.
