Upon consul- <br />tation with Mr. Dalton Moomaw and the Building Department,permission was given ,for a <br />period of six months and to be removed not later than October 1, subject to the ap- <br />proval of BroAm Brothers, owners of the property. The xlruth Diner Company were dir- <br />ected to cooperate with the Building Department in regard to this matter. <br />✓A petition for the Erection of a street light at the intersection of 23rd and <br />Pleasant Streets was submitted and referred to Mr. Qualls for investigation and rec- <br />ommendation. <br />,'lTlr. Qualls reported upon a recent petition asking that a street light be installed <br />in front of the entrance to the Holy Crass Catholic Ohurch at 1020 North Wilbur Street. <br />Mr. Qualls reported having carefully investigated this matter and recommended that a' <br />1000 lumen light be installed. <br />✓V'r. Qualls reported having investigated the lighting facilities in the vicinity <br />of the Greek Church located at 1636 South Kendall Ltreet,but that he finds the loca- <br />tion already well -lighted and he cannot see any need for additional lights. The Board <br />concurred in his report and same was placed on file. <br />Continuation Certificate in favor of the Sollitt Construction Company covering <br />Excavation Bond was approved and filed with the original bond. <br />The Board considered a curb cut on LaSalle Street upon the estate of Catherine B. <br />Schreyer, according to sketch submitted which was approved. <br />The Citizens Homes Company and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company submitted ease- <br />ments to be granted upon vacation resolutions ivo. 2492 and 93 in favor of the Northern <br />I*-d.iana Public Service Company. These were approved and forwarded to to Citizens Humes <br />Company for execution. <br />✓ The Board discussed the appropriation. for W. P. A. truck hire in the amount of <br />3600 which was approved by the Common Council recently and the Board rwllarl move <br />seconded and carried that further appropriations forthis purpose shallno e a proven. <br />tiieeting adjourned at 11:00 A.
