f~ `_ °.x` <br />~~y , `.. ~~' ~ <br />..._ <br />~`~ ' - ZONING & ANNEXATION COMMITTEE <br />February 8, 2010 <br />The February 8, 2010 meeting of the Zoning and Annexation Committee of the South Bend <br />Common Council was called to order by its Vice-Chairperson Council Member Oliver Davis at <br />4:23 p.m., in the Informal Meeting Room, 4th Floor County-City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Committee Members Present: Tom LaFountain, David Varner; Oliver Davis <br />Other Council Present: Derek Dieter, Henry Davis, Ann Puzzello, Karen White, <br />Tim Rouse <br />Others Present: Mayor Luecke, Tom Price, Rita Kopala, Gary Gilot, Jack Dillon, <br />Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Mark Lyons, Mike Danch <br />Agenda: Bill No. 10-04 Special Exception - 3371 Cleveland <br />Bill No. 10-04 <br />In Chairperson AI "Buddy" Kirsits absence Vice-Chairperson Oliver Davis conducted the hearing <br />to allow a special exception allowing a bottled gas storage and distribution facility. Oliver first <br />called upon Mary Lyons to report on the determination of the BZA hearing. Mark reported a <br />unanimous favorable recommendation to Council. There were no remonstrators at the BZA <br />hearing. <br />Oliver then recognized Mike Danch for the presentation. Mike, representing the petitioner, <br />provided the Council an approved final site plan of the facility (attached). He described its <br />function recounting discussion from the BZA hearing. Oliver Davis asked if there was any <br />remonstrance or whether there were any questions. There being none, on a motion by David <br />Varner to send favorably to Council, seconded by Councilmember LaFountain and supported by <br />all, it was affirmed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee at this time, Vice-Chairperson <br />Oliver Davis adjourned the meeting at 4:30 p.m. <br />Respectfully Sub~pitted, <br />and A~in~xation Committee <br />
