MEETING_Muy 24 _ 1937 <br />. Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, May 24, 1937, at <br />10:00 A. M. After consulting with the Building Depart- <br />ment, the Board gave him permission to erect this garage in such a manner that it <br />will be at least ten feet from the house proper not including the open porch. <br />✓ Contractor's bond in favor of Michael Tomaszewski in the Trinity Universal <br />Insurance Company was approved. <br />f Contractor's bond in favor of Frank D. Goheen in the Fidelity & Casualty <br />Company was approved by the Board. <br />✓ Mr. Edgar T. Bonds reported unsafe condition of railroad tracks of the New <br />York Central crossing at Lincoln Way West. The Board gave instructions to notify <br />the New York Central to have same repaired. <br />✓ A communication was received from Loomis & Hartzer calling attention to damage <br />to automobile operated by their client, Robert W. Agnew, in the 700 block on <br />Park Avenue, damaging his car to the extent of $9.50. Mr. Weer reported that the <br />Street Department records show that a cut was made at 730 Park Avenue and repaired <br />April 3rd. The delay being due to the fact that these cuts cannot be repaired <br />during winter. The matter was referred to the City Attorney for attention. <br />Communication was received from the Board of Park Commissioners in regard to <br />trimming trees on property in the vicinity of the M. B. Skinner Company, stating <br />that this does not come under the jurisdiction of the Park Department. The Board, <br />therefore, referred the matter to Mr. Weer for attention of the Street Department. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:30 A.
