Coffman for proposed <br />new <br />driveway at approach to Parking Lot at 121 <br />East Jefferson Boulevard. It was moved, <br />seconded and carried that permission be granted <br />to construct driveway. <br />A communication was received <br />from Stanislatr- �alrrowski of 428 South Harris <br />street, <br />asking that street light be installed on the 400 block Harris Street from where <br />it was <br />removed. The matter. vras referred <br />to 111r. Qualls for investigation and report. <br />A comrunic2tion was received from Ernest H. Hiller in regard to two filling <br />station driveways that are in bed condition and hazardous to pedestrians. <br />The first, located at the northwest corner of I,:ishawaka. Avenue and 32nd Street <br />where filling station was started but never• comp_ leted, is used by motorists to <br />cut through to T-Iishawaka Avenue. It was moved, seconded and carried that notice <br />be sent to the property owners to close driveway and replace curb. <br />The second, drivevrFy to fillings station at the northeast corner of South Bend. <br />Avenue and Georgiana Street, he recommends 35 ft. of the driveway be removed <br />and curb replaced, as it is of no use to t'ne filling station and dangerous for <br />pedestrians. The matter was referred to ?.'r. ,Anderson for investig---tion and <br />recommendation. <br />Contractor's bond in favor of the 17- G. Christr_an Construction Cora-Lpany in the <br />United. States Fidelity & Guaranty Company was approved by the Board. <br />Glilliam Longenecker, City Sexton, reported having contracted for perpetual care <br />with T:'rs. lra-ry A.
