Electric Co. <br />1.00 <br />95.83 <br />11 BUILDING DEPART17ENT - Mr. Moomaw present: <br />Mr. 11oomaw again presented the matter of adding a building inspector for his <br />department for a part of the balance of this year. He stated that a man could' be <br />employed to do this work for $100.00 per month for a period of four months. It was <br />regularly moved, seconded and carried that the City Attorney be instructed to draw up <br />an Ordinance appropriating this amount from the General Fund to be introduced to the <br />Common Council at its next regular meeting. <br />• A communication from the Citizens Trust and Savings Bank stating that heirs, to <br />the estate of Pauline Steinke, deceased, were entitled to a refund of $50.00 because <br />of their claim of having paid twice for the burial and vault of Charles Steinke, <br />deceased. This matter had been fully investigated by the Cemetery Sexton, Clilliem <br />Longenecker,and upon regular motion the claim of the Citizens Trust and Savings Bank <br />was disallowed. <br />A request from the International Workers Order, a sick benefit society, for the <br />breaking.away of sidewalk at their headquarters for the purpose of receiving merchandise <br />to the basement, was referred to the City Engineer for investigation. <br />A communication was received from Rocco Sirneri with reference to laying tees <br />for convenience in making openings for house taps in the serer that is being <br />. constructed in connection vrith the new Yarquette School on College Street. I!?r. Simeri <br />quoted a price of :32.45 each for each tee installed which includes extra cost of the <br />tee over the straight pipe and the labor of installing same and furnishing a concrete <br />stopper for each tee. It was decided by the Board to gi�re 11r. Simeri a contract for <br />doing this work. <br />C <br />10 <br />P,r. Longenecker, City Sexton, submitted his report for work done in the Cemetery <br />during the month of June and showing cash receipts amounting to �220.00. Report is on <br />file in the Board of Public Works. <br />Excavation bond in favor of H. J. Slott in the Nev.; York Casualty Company was <br />approved by the Board. <br />The meeting adjourned at 12:15 P. Ef <br />APPROVED: lerk <br />-0 <br />
