219 <br />MEETING June 1. 1936 <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, June 1, 1936, at <br />10:45 A. M. Willette <br />142.57_ <br />South Bend Clean Towel Service <br />3.65 <br />Motor Service & Parts,, Inc. <br />.60 <br />South Bend Janitor Supply Co. <br />10.40 <br />Elkay Products Corporation <br />89.10 <br />George Wyman & Co. <br />5.00 <br />Smith-P,°onroe Co. <br />25.00 <br />George Wyman & Co. <br />4.25 <br />Office Engineers, Inc. <br />-1.44 <br />A complaint was received from Mrs. Hill in reference to detour at the <br />Bottle Neck, <br />claiming that the streets in that <br />vicinity <br />now being used should be oiled <br />on account <br />of the dusty condition of streets. <br />The matter was referred to the Street <br />Department. <br />The matter of bad condition created at Logan Street and North shore Drive, which <br />-was referred to the City Attorney, was reported .on and now referred to Mr. Anderson <br />for further investigation. <br />Mr. William Longenecker, City Sexton, submitted his report for the month of May, <br />showing collections of $180.00 for perpetual care and $431.75 for maintenance and <br />general care of the Cemetery. This report is on file in the office of the Board of <br />Public.Works. <br />A petition signed by five property owners on blest Dunham Street in the 2500 block, <br />requesting that sewer be installed on West Dunham Street from Olive to Meade Street, <br />was received. This petition was referred to Mr. Anderson for investigation and <br />recommendation. <br />Fire and theft insurance -policy in the Wolverine Insurance Company, covering the <br />• Street Department fleet, was approved as placed with T.
