215 <br />MEETING May 11, 1936 <br />0 <br />0 <br />• <br />• II <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, Yay 11, 1936, at <br />10:00 A. M. All members were present. ' <br />Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. <br />Claims in the amount of $461.20, from the following suppliers, were approved and <br />ordered paid, also payrolls of the various departments amounting to 4,9 52.28. <br />Indiana Bell Telephone Co. .70 G. E. Meyer & Son, Inc. $4.03 <br />Indiana. Bell Telephone Co. 228.43 Slick -Ideal Laundries .35 <br />Indiana & Mich. Electric Co. 119.14 Schuyler Rose 21.00 <br />Indiana & Mich. Electric Co. 1.�Qa South Bend Sand & Gravel Corp. <br />G. E. Meyer & Son, Inc. 80.3.5 <br />A petition was received from property owners and tenants in the vicinity of <br />Irvington Avenue, Eckmann Street and St. Joseph Street, requesting that the alley from St. Joseph Street to Carroll Street, between Irvington and Eckmann, be graded and <br />re -graveled. The matter was referred to the Street Department. - <br />Robertson Brothers requested that the curb in front of their store be.repaired <br />and that an iron plate be installed to protect it. After discussion, the -'-Secretary <br />was instructed to.inform them that repairs would have to be made 'by'themselves at <br />this time, due to there being no W.P.A. project upon which it could be applied. <br />Contractors bond in favor of H. C. Parrott in the Continental Casualty Company, <br />also contractors bond in favor.of Paul Del1eyer in the Aetna Casualty and -surety, <br />Company were approved by the Board and ordered placed on file. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:30 A. 1. <br />ATTEST: Clerk <br />Board of ] <br />is Works <br />
