2f3 LMETING April 27. 1936 • • 0 Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, April 27, 1936, at 10:30 A. M. nor. Woodward was absent. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.. Claims in the amount of $219.08, from the following suppliers., were approved and ordered paid, also payrolls of the various departments amounting to 4,960.67. No. Indiana Public Service Co. Willette 6.75 52.64 Jack Taylor's 4.15 1.85 Paul Lieder 5.00 8.40 Oliver Farm Equipment Sales Co. 3.51 11.29 A remonstrance was received from all resident property owners on the east side of Ironwood Drive, from Lincoln Way East end Ewing'Avenue, with the exception of four. Also all resident property owners on the west side of Ironwood Drive, with the exception of two, remonstrated against further action being taken to pave Ironwood Drive by the use of any hard surface pavement. This remonstrance was by regular motion approved and is on file in the Board of Public Works attached to a petition requesting that the pavement be laid. A claim presented by the Office Supply & Equipment Company for an unpaid bill of the Legal Department in 1932 was submitted to the Board and it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that this claim be not allowed. Communication was received from the State Highway Commission in reference to sewer connection located on the north side of Western Avenue, 423 ft. east of 00+00, in which they refused to correct the condition_ at this late date, claiming that it should have been called to their attention at the time connections were made.
