2f3 <br />LMETING April 27. 1936 <br />• <br />• <br />0 <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, April 27, 1936, <br />at 10:30 A. M. nor. Woodward was absent. <br />Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.. <br />Claims in the amount of $219.08, from the following suppliers., were approved and <br />ordered paid, also payrolls of the various departments amounting to 4,960.67. <br />No. Indiana Public Service Co. <br />Columbia Paper Co. <br />Columbia Paper Co. <br />J. I. Holcomb Mfg. Co. <br />Motor Service & Parts, Inc. <br />South Bend Auto .Products <br />South Bend Auto Products <br />1.48 Indiana Paint & Wallpaper Co. $18.76 <br />5.25 Indiana Paint & Wallpaper Co. 83.35 <br />16.65 Harry E. Willette 6.75 <br />52.64 Jack Taylor's 4.15 <br />1.85 Paul Lieder 5.00 <br />8.40 Oliver Farm Equipment Sales Co. 3.51 <br />11.29 <br />A remonstrance was received from all resident property owners on the east side of <br />Ironwood Drive, from Lincoln Way East end Ewing'Avenue, with the exception of four. <br />Also all resident property owners on the west side of Ironwood Drive, with the <br />exception of two, remonstrated against further action being taken to pave Ironwood <br />Drive by the use of any hard surface pavement. This remonstrance was by regular <br />motion approved and is on file in the Board of Public Works attached to a petition <br />requesting that the pavement be laid. <br />A claim presented by the Office Supply & Equipment Company for an unpaid bill of <br />the Legal Department in 1932 was submitted to the Board and it was regularly moved, <br />seconded and carried that this claim be not allowed. <br />Communication was received from the State Highway Commission in reference to <br />sewer connection located on the north side of Western Avenue, 423 ft. east of 00+00, <br />in which they refused to correct the condition_ at this late date, claiming that it <br />should have been called to their attention at the time connections were made. The <br />matter has been referred to the Engineering Department. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:00 A. It". <br />ATTEST : Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />
