MEETING January 13, 1936 <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, January 13, 1936 at <br />11:00 A. 11. He was requested to submit to the Board more <br />definite 'information as to the style of banner and how they were to be displayed <br />before permission could be granted. The matter was referred to the Building <br />Commissioner. <br />Yr. Weer was instructed to remove from the streets of South Bend all of the <br />traffic markers,loaated at street car unloading corners with the exception of those <br />now placed at Washington,.nd i:richigan Streets and at the northwest corner of Jefferson;:. <br />end Michigan Streets. <br />Mr. Z'+eer was requested to ascertain if remodeling of the Police Department in the <br />Auto Detail and Detective Bureau could be accomplished with W.P.A. labor and to report <br />at the next meeting. <br />lr. Jemes Pierce submitted insurance policies as follows, which were approved by <br />the Board <br />Policy No. 375066, covering personal injury liability and property damage <br />from January 1, 1936 to January 1, 1937. This policy covering nine trucks <br />now operated by Er. Pierce. <br />Policy No. 8212985, being Standard Worlman's Compensation and Employer's <br />Liability Insurance for the year 1936. <br />Policy No. 8207116, being Liability Insurance Drivers, Helpers and Clerical <br />Employees for the year 1936. <br />Excavation bond in the New York Casuelty Company in favor of C. S. Randolph in <br />the amount of �1,000.00 for one year from December 3, 1935 was approved by the Board. <br />Continuation certificates in favor of Arthur W. Deppert and Edward Tannehill <br />excavation bonds were approved by the Board. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:45 A.
