MEETING DECEMBER 23, 1935 <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on December 23, 1935 at, <br />9:30 A. MI. Adams, Chairman <br />Dear Sir: <br />Your letter of December 21st to the Mayor of the City of South Bend was <br />received by him and referred to the Board of Public Works. <br />We are obliged to advise you that due to legal complications which have <br />arisen in respect to the condemnation of the necessary right-of-way it is impossible <br />for us to have the matter entirely cleared so that bids could be let by January 28th. <br />Under the circumstances, we will not be ready and you will be advised of <br />further developments as we progress. • <br />Very truly yours, <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />G. 0. Thurn, Secy. <br />A letter from the St. Joseph Loan & Trust Company was received, requesting re - <br />spread of assessments on Trots 1 and 2 in Vail's Addition, Block No. 5, recorded in <br />Deed Book No. 278, Page 384, as of November 19, 1935.
