Anderson <br />City Civil Engineer <br />City Civil Engineer, Frederick J. Anderson reported that he had taken up with the <br />• City of Mishawaka the matter of improving Ironwood Drive from Lincoln Way East to <br />Ewing Avenue and that further consultation is necessary before definite action can be. <br />taken. The City of Mishawaka has asked for a W.P.A. project to cover this paving. <br />Mr. J. C. deer, Street Commissioner, submitted his monthly report for September, <br />showing work done by Street, Alley and Sewer Departments. Report has been placed on <br />file in the Board of Works office. <br />Mr. J. C. Weer submitted to the Board complete report of the work done and the <br />cost to the City of operations under the Works Program Administration for the month of <br />August, which report is on file in the Board of Public Works. <br />The Northern Indiana Railway, Inc., through its Receiver Raymond R. Smith, <br />the Board Deed for the following described <br />delivered to a Quit -Claim property: <br />"A strip of land located in the Northwest quarter () of the Northwest quarter <br />(�) of Section One (1) in Township Thirty-seven (37) north of Range Two (2) East, more <br />particularly described as follows: All right of Way adjacent to and east of the <br />Michigan Central Railroad Company's Right of Way lying south of Angella Avenue and <br />Northerly and Westerly of the West line of the Right of Way of State Road No. Thirty- <br />one (31) as acquired by condemnation proceedings by Resolution No. 2481 of the Depart- <br />ment of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana; the above described tract <br />being in addition to land condemned from Northern Indiana Railway, Inc. in Resolution <br />No. 2461. Said tract being a part of land which was conveyed to the grantors <br />• <br />predecessor in title by Samuel Leeper and wife on July 17, 1902 and recorded in the <br />records of St. Joseph County in Deed Record 122, page 379. It being the intention of <br />this deed to convey property which should have been included in the Condemnation <br />Resolution.
