MEETING AUGUST 19 , 1935 <br />15 <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Public <br />at 10:00 A. M. F. Witt appeared before the Board in regard to traffic signal petitioned <br />for at Walnut Street and Lincoln Way West. The Traffic Survey Committee reported <br />unfavorably on installation of signal at this location and Mr. Witt was advised no <br />action.would be taken by the Board at this time. <br />A Petition was received, signed by twenty-three residents of Marine Street and <br />vicinity, requesting that alley between 1721 and 1725 Marine Street and extending <br />from Marine Street to alley parallel to Marine in West be closed and was referred to <br />Mr. Anderson for investigation and recommendation. <br />A Petition, signed by twenty-five residents, asking for street light at inter- <br />section of Dayton Street and Mumford Court was referred to Mr. Qualls for investigation. <br />and report at the next meeting of the Board. <br />A communication was read from Christian Pretz calling attention to need of repair <br />to roadway in front of 3020 Buckingham Drive, due to disintegration of concrete. The <br />matter was referred to Mr. Weer, Street Commissioner. <br />• A letter from the Inland Agency, Inc. in connection with the Assessment Roll for <br />the grade, curb and walk on Jefferson Boulevard from 18th Street to 26th Street, under <br />Assessment Roll #1901, Duplicate #27207 and asking that assessment be re -spread was <br />referred to Mr. Anderson. <br />Another communication from the Inland Agency, Inc. in regard to Assessment Roll <br />for the grade, curb and walk 18th Street under Assessment Roll #1616, Duplicate #18934 <br />and requesting that assessment be respread against the lots effected was referred to <br />Mr. Anderson. <br />It was moved, seconded and carried that gasoline for the Building Department be <br />purchased through the Police Department. <br />• The meeting adjourned at 11:00 A.
