/ A <br />j ' ~,..,.c ~..,` <br />~~ * g..: <br />.~.....-- :~ ~~' PERSONNEL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />JANUARY 25, 2010 <br />Karen White, Vice-Chairperson, Personnel and Finance Committee called the meeting to <br />order at 4:01 p.m. <br />Committee Members Present: Oliver Davis, David Varner <br />Other Council Present: Derek Dieter, Ann Puzzello, Timothy Rouse <br />Others Present: Gary Gilot, Rita Kopala, Mayor Luecke <br />Agenda: Bill No. 10-03 -Scrap License Issuance <br />With a quorum present, Vice-Chairperson Karen White recognized City Clerk John <br />Voorde to make a presentation on behalf of the Ordinance Violations Bureau. Clerk <br />Voorde noted that nine of the scrap/metal recycling licenses were due to be issued. Each <br />had filed the annual renewal, paid the fees, and most significantly been approved by the <br />city departments overseeing their operations. The timely issuance of the licenses were <br />noted and due to the Ordinance Violations Bureau, the cooperation of the inspectors <br />responsible as well as the petitioners themselves. <br />There being no questions from the Council or the public, Councilmember Oliver Davis <br />moved to send the bill to full Council with a favorable recommendation. Affirmation by <br />all followed the second to the motion from Tim Rouse. <br />There being no other business, Vice-Chairperson White adjourned the meeting at 4:05 <br />p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />~~ <br />Karen L.
