Scope of Work <br />Current Environment and Shortcomings <br />The current City of South Bend web security system consists of Cisco Cloud Web Security. <br />Requested Features <br />The current City of South Bend has requested the following features: <br />• Web content filtering <br />• Mitigation of ransomware, command -and -control, and other malware <br />• Category -based URL filtering policy <br />• Security/threat-based policy <br />• On -screen and/or scheduled reporting <br />Proposed Solution <br />Cisco Umbrella is a DNS security solution that utilizes Cisco's TALOS security intelligence database. <br />The proposed solution is cloud -hosted DNS Security -as -a -Service. This solution consists of the following <br />capabilities: <br />• Cisco Umbrella provides URL filtering by category and risk <br />• Cisco Umbrella mitigates malware and attacks that utilize command -and -control (CnC/C2), such as <br />ransomware attacks <br />• Cisco Umbrella provides on -screen scheduled reporting capabilities <br />Implementation <br />NSI will assist in the implementation of Umbrella DNS security into the existing network. <br />Please note: Active Directory integration requires implementing at least two Virtual Appliances into an existing <br />VMWare or Hyper-V environment. The scope of this project does not include the configuration of VMWare or <br />HyperV. <br />Preparation I Provisioning <br />• City of South Bend is responsible for creating a complete checklist of applications and utilities that utilize DNS. <br />City of South Bend will use this checklist during the implementation of Cisco Umbrella to serve as a Network <br />Ready for Use document to verify and certify the complete functionality of the implemented solution. <br />• NSI will provide City of South Bend with a data collection sheet to gather information on the existing DNS <br />www.nsil.com WHY we do is as important as WHAT we do (574) 271-0900 <br />Page: 2 of 6 <br />
