<br />This being the date set, adjourned meeting of the Foo rd of Public Works was

<br />The matter of the purchase of a Vreet Sweeping unit was discussed and pro-
<br />posals which were received. on Londay, April loth., 1954, were considered. After
<br />careful consideration, the Foar- decides to postpone '.lie final dicision in this matter
<br />until Wedtesday evening at 7-30 $ at which time a special meeting of the Board will be
<br />held in the office of the Board .
<br />The Board instructed the Secretary of the Board to pc epa.re level advertise-
<br />ments and hove salve published, for the purchase of a motor drawn 1500 gallon Street
<br />Flusher T ith sprinkling attachments and sewer cleaning attachments, mounted on a
<br />chassis guaranteed to carry the load. Said proposals to be received on I!ay 7th.,
<br />1934, up to 3 P. Y.

<br />contract for the Street LerRrtment Sveeping Unit to the Austin -Western toad Epchinery
<br />Company at their price of 16,525.00 and the Board signed the fo?lowi.ng Contract with
<br />said Austin -Western Road Iachinery Company, subject to the approval of the Common Coun-
