However NorthStar <br />is the original Harris and can trace its roots in providing CIS solutions to the utility market back to the 1980s. <br />As a result of continued growth, Harris moved to a divisional structure in 2004. Harris now has over 38 offices <br />throughout North America, over 1,200 employees and owns some of the most powerful CIS solutions in the <br />utility market. <br />In 1996, Harris was purchased by and remains a fully -owned subsidiary of Constellation Software <br />Incorporated (CSI). CSI is an international provider of market -leading software and services to a select number <br />of industries, both in the public and private sectors.
