IPS includes modules for your various types of assets and allows you to build a complete inventory of
those assets in your network. An asset network consists of your agency's assets and the associations
among those assets. When creating or updating asset records, you establish these associations by
indicating how assets are related to each other. Each module provides a list of standard asset types with
the ability to create your own asset types if necessary,
Infor Public Sector Meter Management is used to record and analyze usage readings for water meters in
your agency's inventory. Meter readings are used to calculate customers' water bills in Infor Public Sector
Billing, so it is important to have complete and correct reading data.
Meter readings can be entered manually, but more often they are recorded by an external system and
then imported in a batch process. In most cases, you will first export one or more routes, providing the
external reading system with a list of meters to be read.
Work Management
Infor Public Sector provides the tools that you need to generate and track work orders for the assets in
your inventory, from the time the work order is created to the time it is completed. When an asset requires
routine maintenance or stops functioning properly, you can create a work order that records the type of
maintenance or repair work that is necessary, as well as schedule the work order and assign it to an
employee. I PS provides several tools that you can use to track work orders and enter information about
the failures experienced, work performed, and resources used for the repair.
MEE=
Dynamic Portal Responsive is a public -facing responsive design web portal for Infor Public Sector's suite
of solutions.
