Jefferson Boulevard <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />tel (5 74) 63 r- 17 8 5 <br />fax (574) 631-3001 <br />email sexton.3o@nd.ed" <br />Re: Eddy Street Commons Phase 11 — Construction Closure of Eddy Street and St, Vincent Street <br />To Whom It May Concerns <br />This letter is to affirm that the University of Notre Dame ("University) understands and supports <br />the request by Kite Realty Group ("Kite) to close Eddy Street and St. Vincent Street for a period <br />of 20 months, beginning in March 2018 and concluding in late October 2019, While the closure <br />of Eddy Street will undoubtedly cause some temporary inconvenience to the surrounding <br />neighborhoods, such inconvenience is unavoidable during a construction project of this <br />magnitude. <br />Kite has worked closely with the University to explain their construction schedule and has <br />modified their plans to the extent possible to mitigate impacts to residents and businesses. On <br />October 10, 2017 Kite held an informational meeting at Innovation Park outlining the schedule <br />for the project with neighborhood residents.
