Councilmember John Voorde stated that the next meeting of the <br /> Solid Waste Management Board is on February 12th, 2018. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> There was no new business. <br /> PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br /> Sharon Banicki, 3822 Ford Street, South Bend, IN, stated that residents are pleased with the <br /> plowing in the city but Ms. Banicki urged the City to put out notice for alternate parking earlier <br /> in the process, stating that though the main streets look good, side streets are in bad shape. Ms. <br /> Banicki also stated that the 3800-3900 block on Ford Street needs new curbs. She stated, The <br /> sidewalks are fine, but we will be losing them,though, if we don't do something with curbs. So, <br /> keep us in mind when it's time for your allotment of money. <br /> Councilmember Tim Scott stated, Ms. Banicki,the Council officially recognizes and <br /> congratulates you on a grandbaby. <br /> Ms. Banicki thanked Councilmember Scott, adding, Isn't he such a cutie? <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business to come before the Council, President Tim Scott adjourned the <br /> meeting at 7:49 p.m. <br /> 11 <br />
