Councilmember Karen White seconded the motion <br /> which carried by a voice vote of eight(8) ayes. <br /> SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> Councilmember Tim Scott announced that Bills No. 78-17 and 79-17 have been continued <br /> indefinitely. <br /> REPORTS OF CITY OFFICES <br /> Representing the City Administration: Mayor Pete Buttigieg <br /> I <br /> Pete Buttigieg, Mayor of the City of South Bend, with offices on the 14th Floor of the County- <br /> City Building, South Bend, IN, approached the podium. Mayor Buttigieg stated, First of all, let <br /> me just reiterate my appreciation to the Council for a great budget process. I happen to believe <br /> the compromise—I think it will serve the residents well. I wanted to let you know that we are <br /> now developing a full framework for some of the newer policies.
