Public Hearings and Commission action on <br />appropriation resolutions. <br /> <br />(10) continued… <br /> <br />CRN.2628 <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED ESOLUTION O <br />APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF CERTAIN LOCAL <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2628 <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />appropriating monies for the purpose of <br />J1,2010, <br />BEGINNING ANUARY AND ENDING <br />defraying the expenses of certain local public <br />D 31,2010 <br />ECEMBER INCLUDING ALL <br />, <br />improvements for the fiscal year beginning <br />OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS <br />FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE <br />January 1, 2010, and ending December 31, <br />(F619,BG <br />EFFECT UND LACKTHORN OLF <br />2010 including all outstanding claims and <br />C) <br />OURSE <br />obligations, fixing a time when the same <br />shall take effect (Fund 619, Blackthorn Golf <br />Course) <br /> <br /> <br />(11) Resolution No. 2629 appropriating monies <br />for the purpose of defraying the expenses <br />of certain local public improvements for <br />the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2010, <br />and ending December 31, 2010, including <br />all outstanding claims and obligations, <br />fixing a time when the same shall take <br />effect. (Fund 425, Leighton Retail Space <br />and Courtyard and Wayne St Garage <br />Retail) <br /> <br />Mr. Inks noted that the public hearing file is <br />complete, containing the Notice of Hearing, a <br />copy of Resolution No. 2629, and affidavits <br />from the South Bend Tribune and Tri-County <br />News that the notice was published in those <br />newspapers on January 1, 2010. <br /> <br />Mr. Inks noted that the 2010 budget totals <br />$142,000, down from $163,000 in 2009. Part <br />of the reason for that drop is that we’ve had a <br />$20,000 reserve fund in previous years to <br />cover unexpected needs. The 2010 budget <br /> 18 <br /> <br />
