Mr. Dick Johnson and Mr. Ralph F. <br />Kuss- present Minutes of meeting held 141onday, September 25th. , 1933, read and approved. <br />The Board approved the bond of contractor written in favor of Sherman <br />Metzger in the sum of 41,000.00 and signed by the Fidelity -and Deposit Company of <br />Maryland and executed by G. A. F'arabaugh, attorney in fact. <br />The Board approved the bond. of contractor written in favor of R. R. Smith, <br />Receiver for iuorthern. Indiana Railway, Inc., in the sum of e 1,000.00 and signed by <br />Metropolitan Casualty Insuran.c e Company. <br />The follavvinF communication was read and ordered referred to the Street <br />Department: <br />Mr. Dick Johnson, President <br />Board of Public Works, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />Dear Sir: <br />September 28,133 <br />Subject: East Tutt Street <br />East Tutt Street from Michigan Street to Fellows Street is used very much <br />by all trucking companyes, Sibley Machine Co., and Stephenson MfV. Company, in addition <br />to a lot of miscellaneous traffic. <br />This brick street has been broken up in many places in repairing sewer, <br />water and ga. s lines. It is very full of pot holes and these get larger rapidly due <br />to the %eavy traffic. <br />Could these sunken brick be lifted out and filling put in,; and the bricks <br />turned over andrelaid at a very small expense?
