Monday, August 28th. , 1933 <br />Board mkt in regular session at 3 P. M. Mr. Dick Johnson present, Mr. <br />Ralph H. Kuss also present. Yr'. S. Moore, City Engineer, present, <br />i <br />Minutes of meeting held Monday, Au.pust 21, 1933, read and approved. <br />Upon the recommendation of City Engineer,. S. Moore, the Board approved' <br />the plan f or a change in the drive way f or the filling station of t he Johnson <br />Oil Company at 302 E. Colfax Avenue. <br />The matter of repairing the pulley and repainting the flag pole on the <br />City Hall was discussed. Mr. Wm. F. Qualls was present together with Mr. Clarence <br />Sharpless .and the latter agreed to repair t},e pulley, put in new line and paint the <br />flag pole at a cost of12.00, the City to furnish the necessary line. Upon the <br />Ij recommendation of Mr.. Qualls the Board ordered this work done and agreed that Mr. <br />Sharple ss would be paid immediately upon the completion of said work. <br />I� <br />The Board approved a contractors bond in the sum bf $1,000.00 in. favor <br />of Bob Morgan signed by The Metropolitan Casualty Insurance Co: <br />Claims in the sum of $1,022.75 for various departments were signed and <br />I� approved by the Board and ordered paid as soo:d as funds for same are available. <br />• �� The Board. approved pad roll claims for various departments in the total <br />sum of 47,733.87 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same. <br />The ma. tte r of a light at the corner of Frdderickson Street and Huey <br />street was discussed. A petition for same has been on file for some time and Mr. <br />Chidester, a citizen: and tax payer offered to donate the sum of $10.00 toward * the <br />cost of said light. The Board decided to take the matter under consideration to <br />see if said light could not be installed at this location. <br />11eeting adjourned at 4 P.
