I <br />Minutes of meeting held Monday, August 7th., 1933read and approved <br />The Board instructed Mr. Longs general foreman in the Street tepart- <br />went, to di scontinue all hired trucks as of August 18th.9. 1933. <br />Pay roll claims for various departments in the sum of $5,150.95 <br />were signed aa.d approved by .the Board. <br />Meeting adjourned at 3-55 P. Moore, City Engineer, absent. <br />Minutes of meeting held Itonday, August 14th. , 1933, read and approv- <br />ed. <br />The report came to the Eoard that I'r. A. IT. Long, Street Department <br />General Foreman, had not complied with the order of the Board of august 14th. , to <br />discontinue all hired trucks on August 18th. 'Phe report was to the effect that two <br />trucks were still being retained in the 6treet Department. Board instructed the Clerk <br />of the Board to give Yr. . Long a written order for the di smisal of the two zemaining <br />hired trucks,same to be effective at once. Said written order issued and sent by <br />special delivery mail to !Vr. Long at his home on Monday evening at 5 P. M. <br />Claims for various departments in the sum of 8,16758.09 were signed <br />and. approved by the Board. <br />I.Teetinp, adjourned at 3-55 P.
