Mond ay , Augus t 14 th . , 193 3 <br />Board net in regular session at 3 P. M. Mr. -Dick Johnson and Mr. <br />Ralph H. Kuss present. Mr. In. S. Moore, City Engineer, absent. <br />Minutes of meeting held Monday, August 7th. , 1933,, read and approved.. <br />The Board instructed Mr. Longs general foreman in the Street Depart- <br />ment, to discontinue all hired trucks as of August 18th.,. 1933. <br />a <br />Pay roll claims for various departments in the sum of $5,150.95 <br />were signed ma.d approved by .the Board. <br />i <br />Meeting adj ou.rne d at 3-55 P. M. <br />Mond ay August 21, 1933. <br />Board met in regular session at 3 P. M. Mr. Dick Johnson and Mr. � <br />Ralph H. Kuss present. Mr. Wm. S. Moore, City Engineer, absent. <br />Minutes of meeting held Monday, August 14th. , 1933, read and approv- • <br />ed. <br />The report came to the Board that Yr. A. Y. Long, Street Department <br />General Foreman, had not complied with the order of the Board of August 14th., to <br />discontinue all hired trucks on August 18th. Ihe report was to the effect that two <br />trucks were still being retained in the 6treet Department. Board instructed the Clerk <br />of the Board to give IVir. Long a written order for the di smisal of the two remaining <br />hired trucks,same to be effective at once. Said written order issued and sent by <br />special delivery mail to IVr. Long at his home on Monday evening at 5 P. M. <br />Claims for various departments in the sum of $16758.09 were signed <br />and approved by the Board. <br />Mee ti ng adjourned at 3-55 P.
