She wants to know who owns the house to tell <br /> them. Mark Kramer stated that his daughter owns it and the problem was addressed and they are <br /> telling students that they need to be aware of inappropriate behavior. <br /> Kathy Cekanski Farrand: There is a bill pending with the council regarding no cell phone <br /> usage in the City of South Bend. There will be a public hearing on Monday. <br /> Gail Mancini: No new updates. Candidates are still being reviewed for the Dean's position. <br /> Dan Allen: In terms of safety, there have been two home robberies and two students were <br /> robbed at gunpoint. Students were advised to be aware of their environment especially around <br /> moving time which is a high theft period. Students are happy with the police dealing with the <br /> issues. There was a business plan discussed about campus services which was taken under <br /> advisement. <br /> LouElla Webster: They are now getting bids for the construction on Kelly Park. They will <br /> have a pavilion built, and there will be landscaping. Local 150 will donate earthmoving <br /> equipment and materials. This should start around mid-May. <br /> Dr. Kelly Jordan: Construction is going well at Holy Cross. He would like to host the October <br /> meeting to show everyone the new buildings on campus. <br /> The next CCAC meeting was tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 3:30 <br /> p.m. at the County-City Building, 4th Floor, Council Chambers. <br /> Council Member Gavin Ferlic thanked everyone and adjourned the meeting at 4:05 p.m. <br /> 2 <br />
