Minutes of <br />meeting held Tuesday, August 9th. , 1932, read and approved. <br />The hoard ordered that the Municipal Pp'rking Lot be continued without charge <br />until further notice. <br />`" The Board approved claims for. various departmnts in the sum of $11,375.21. <br />heetinr adjourned at 12 :00 0' clock noon. <br />Attested: <br />Cle k ( the Board <br />TIES AY , AUGUST 23 rd.. 1932. <br />Board rmt in regular session at 10:00 A. Sri. All members present. - Vinutes of <br />meeting held Tuesday, .August 16t11., 1932, m-aa and approved. <br />The hoard approved a revised plan fb r the driveway at the sout hwest corner of <br />Lasalle Avenue and Twin Street as presented by Charles W. Cole for holycross & Nye, <br />ovine rs . <br />Upon a motion duly made and. seconded, it was unanimously dtoided by the Board <br />that the City Street Department furnish the gasoline and oil in the car used by A. lei. <br />Long, foreman. This action was, taken by the Board in vier of the fact that Mr. Long's <br />car is in constant use in the Street Department and that Mr. Long is receiving no compen <br />sation from the City for the use of said car. <br />The board approved claims for various departments in the sum. of $173.49 <br />The Board appmved pay roll claims for various departments in the sum of $5,507. <br />The Board approved the c1a"im for trade separation worms. in the slm of $433.33 and <br />hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of Grade Separation Fund. <br />City Engineer, H. G. _V`4ray, filed plans and specifications and the Bc�rd adopted <br />said plans and specifications to ether with the following Improvement Resolution: <br />Improvement Resolution No.2474 for the grading of the alley west of Franklin <br />Street from Calvert Street to Donald Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />In the above named improvement resolution, the Board, hereby, orders that on the <br />13th., day of September, 1932, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at <br />10:00 A. lei. , to hear and receive zemons trenc es from all persons whoseprop erty may be <br />affected by said i_mpYovement and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots <br />and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement, will be equal tot the <br />estimated cost thereof. The Board further orders that noticaex of said hearing be pub- <br />lished in the South Bend Tribune and Pews Timas on the 26th., day of August and on the <br />2na.. , day of September. 1932, according to law and that notices be rrriled to property <br />owners a c cord ing to law. <br />Meeting, adjourned at 12 o'clock noon. <br />Attested: <br />ii <br />- V-Z��Z_ <br />f <br />Clerk <br />6 <br />
