<br />Board. met in regular session at 10:00 A. M. All members present. Minutes '
<br />of meeting held Tuesday, July 12th. , 1932, read and. approved. �
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.2473
<br />for the local sever im.p�vvement in.,Juey Street from Aeller 6treet to Bryan Street;
<br />also Marquette Boulevard from the alley crest of O'Brien Street to Huey Street. (See
<br />files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the above nan ed improvement re solution, two owners of vacant lots were
<br />present remonstrating against said improvement. Other property owners living along
<br />the proposed improve re nt were present advocating said improvement. Aftering all
<br />•
<br />persons interested in said improvement resolution and. being fully advised. in the pre-
<br />raises, the Board finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable
<br />to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost thereof and that
<br />the improvement is necessary. Therefore, the Board decides to, take final action on
<br />j said improvemea t resolution and declares same in all things ratified , confirmed and
<br />approved without modification.-:.:-, The Board now orders that on the 2nd., day of August,
<br />1932 , this Board will receive , open and read sealed proposals f or the construction of
<br />said improvement up to 10:00 A. P'. The Boardfurther ordeTs that notices of said sealed
<br />proposals be published in the bouth Bend News Times and Tribune on t-he 21st. , day of
<br />July and on the 28th., day of July, 1932, according t:)' law.

<br />Upon a request from the loc al merchants, the Board decides to discontinue
<br />the fee charge on automobiles in IE`unicipal Parking
<br />parked the Lot during tie period of
<br />the ZTTerchants Campaign or until next `l'uesday, when some definite arranger nt regarding
<br />the charge will be agreed upon. f

<br />j The Loerd approved claim amounting to 915,368.68 for various departments
<br />end hereby carders City Controller to my sam°.

<br />the redistributions of assessments for the Kline Street Widening and also for the
<br />South East Trunk Sewer, as petitioned for by the Twyckenham Lard and Investment Company. j
