<br />Board met in regular session at 10:00 A. It.% A11 members present. Minutes
<br />of meeting held Tuesday, July 12th. , 1932, read and approved.
<br />'his being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.2473
<br />i for the local sewe r impre vement in. .Jue,y Street f rom Kelle r Street to Bryan Street;
<br />it also Marquette Boulevard from the alley crest of O'Brien Street to Huey Street. (See
<br />li files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the ;above named improvement resolution, two Owners of vacant lots were
<br />present remonstratding against said improvement. Other
<br />•
<br />property owners living along
<br />the proposed improve rrt yr ere present advocating said improvement. Aftering all
<br />persons interested in said improvement resolution and. "being fully advised. in the pre-
<br />mises, the Board finds that the benefits to
<br />I!

<br />the several lots and parcels of land liable
<br />to be assessed for sai d improvement will be equal to th e e stima ted c ost thereof and that
<br />the improvement is
<br />necessary. Therefore, the Board- decides to, take final action on
<br />said improvement resolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed
<br />i
<br />and
<br />appmved without modifications ;The Board now orders that on the 2nd.2 day. of August,
<br />1932 this Board
<br />will receive o
<br />: pen and read sealed proposals for the construction of
<br />said improvement up to 10:00 A. Tl. The Boa
<br />rd. further orde-rz that notices of said sealed
<br />proposals be published in the South Bend News Times and Tribune the
<br />on 21st., day of
<br />July and on the 28th., day of July, 1932, according tro law.

<br />Upon a request from the loca1merchants , the Board decides to discontinue
<br />the fee charge on automobiles parked in the 1unicipal Parking Lot during
<br />tie period of
<br />the Merchants Campaign or until next Tuesday, when some definite arrangement regarding
<br />the charge will be

<br />agreed upon.

<br />South East Trunk Sewer, as petitioned for by the Twyckenham Land and Invest4mnt Company.
