U60 Tuesday, May 17th . 4 <br />Phe Board approved claims for various departments in the,, -,sum of 452.78. <br />Meeting adjourned at 12 o'clock moon. <br />Attested: <br />TUESDAY, MAY 249 1932. <br />Board net in regular session at 9-30 A. M. Minutes of meeting held <br />Tuesday, May l7th., 1932, read and approved. <br />The f ollowing letter from Mayor W. R Hinkle was read and ordered placed <br />on file: <br />May 21st. , 1932. <br />Board of Public Works, <br />City of south Bend, Indiana. <br />Gentlem en : <br />I have, th is day, formally removed Mr. John K. Smogor from the office <br />of member of the Board of Public Works, and have this day appointed Mr. George A. <br />Schock to succeed him and to assume the offic e of pre si dent of the Board. <br />Letter, to this effect, to the Common Council is on file in the office <br />of the C it C le rk. <br />Yours very truly, <br />W. R. Hinkle , Mayor. <br />The appointment of Mr. George A. Schock as a member of the Board of <br />Public Works was duly filed by Mayor T'. R. Hinkle. All of the me`nbers of said Board, <br />being fully qualified by law, the Board now proceeds to re -organization. Mr. M. E. <br />Doran r tsigns as President of the Board and upon a motion made by George A. Schock <br />and, seconded by M. E. Doran, Ralph H. Kuss was named temporary Chairman of the Board. <br />Upon motions duly made and seconded, the follaring were unanimously elected: <br />Ge or p.e A. Schock, Pre s id en t. <br />M. E. Dolan, Vice -President. <br />Ralph H. Kus s, Member. <br />The resignation of William E. Rasmussen as superintendent of the City <br />Water Works was accepted by the Board, same to be effective as of June lst., 1932. <br />The Board appointed Frank R. Wisniewski to the office of superintendent <br />of the "dater Works. Mr. Wisniewski to assume his duties as superintendent June lst., <br />1932 . <br />The following bids for the repair of tI-B sewer at Angella.
