Hinkle was read and ordered placed May 21st. , 1932. Board. of Public Works, Citzr of South Bend,, Indiana. Gentlem En : I hmve, th is day, formally removed Mr. John K. Smogor from the office of member of the Beard of Public Works, and have this day appointed Mr. George A. Schock to succeed him and to assume the offic e of pre si dent of the Board. Letter, to this effect, to the Common Council is on file in the office of the City Clerk. Yours very truly, j W. R. Hinkle , Mayor. The appointment of Mr. George A. Schock as a member of the Board of Public Works was duly filed by Mayor W. R. Hinkle. All of the members of said Board, being fully qualified by law, the Board now proceeds to re -organization. Mr. M. E. Doran reesigns as President of the Board and upon a motion made by George A. Schock !I and seconded by M. E. Doman, Ralph H. Kuss was named temporary Chairman of the Board. Upon motions duly made and seconded, the following were unanimously elected: Ge or pe A. Schock, Pre s id en t. f M. E. Dona n, Vice -President. Ralph H. Kuss, Member. The res igna ti on of William E. Rasmussen a s supe rindendent of t he City Water Works was accept ed by the Board , same to be effective a s o f June lst., 1932. The Board appointed Frank R. Wisniewski to the office of superintendent j of the Water Works. Mr. Wisniewski to assume his duties as superindiendent June lst., 1932.
