August Ath. , I93I, read and approved. <br />This being the date set, hearingw as had on Vacat ion Resolution NO.2452 for the <br />jacation of alleys in block bounded by Qndix "Y ve, Kaley btreet, Bertrand Street <br />jand. Kenwood Avenue. (See files for copy of vacation resolution.) f <br />j In the above named vacation resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />!remonstrances were filed and the board, being fully advised in the premises, and after <br />,"hearing all persons interested in same, decides to take final action on said vacation <br />;;resolution No,2452 and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved <br />• jwithout modification and the alleys vacated. Minutes of <br />meeting held August I8th., I93I, read a nd approved. <br />This being the gate set, hearing was had on Impmverrent Resolution No.2455 for th <br />pavement of Borth 6hore Drive from Teichienn Street to a point 180 feet west of Lafayett <br />Boulevard. (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />Mn the above named improvement resolution, pr op erty owners asked the Board to <br />take no further action on said resolution, and the Board, therefore, declares same, null <br />and void and all former action taken with reference to said improvement is hereby, re- <br />scinded. <br />Upon the petition J property owners on hor th Shore 'rive from Michigan Street to <br />a point 1.80 feet west of Lafayette Boulevard, the Board granted permission to resurface <br />said street under private contra et but assumed no responsibilty whatever in connection <br />with same. City Engineer, H. C. Wray, is instructed to give these property owners his <br />co-operation in connection with this improvement . <br />The hoard appr,ved claims for various departments amounting to 40PI2,638.44 for <br />pay lolls. <br />The board approved the pay roll claim for tirade Separation wott in the amount of <br />$433.33 and hereby orders City Controller to. pay same out of Grade Separation Fund. <br />Meeting adjourned at 12 o'clock noon. <br />• II <br />Atte sted : <br />�+ <br />h <br />erT of the Board <br />
