REGULAR MEETING October 23, 2017 were ultimately dozens of meetings that contributed in some way to the Smart Streets initiative, and this Council approved the effort but not unquestioningly. There were a lot of changes to it. There was a request by the Council to ask this Administration and ask me to stop, slow, reduce some things—something I don't always love to hear, because we want to accelerate, but it unquestionably made this a better project. So, it's very much with the awareness that this would not have been possible without support from the public and support from this Council that I'm Tim Scott, South Bend Common Council President, with offices on the 4th Floor of the County- City Building, South Bend, IN, stated, The Mayor just kind of hit on the Council's role in this. is one (1) good thing in that video that really,to me, stands out: Smart Streets is an economic development tool. I think you need to look at that and remember that.
