South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -January 15, 2010 <br />Area No. 1 <br />(10) Resolution No. 2628 appropriating monies <br />for the purpose of defraying the expenses <br />of certain Local public improvements for <br />the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2010, <br />and ending December 31, 2010 including <br />all outstanding claims and obligations, <br />fixing a time when the same shall take <br />effect (Fund 619, Blackthorn Golf Course) <br />Mr. Inks noted that the public hearing file is <br />complete, containing the Notice of Hearing, a <br />copy of Resolution No. 2628, and affidavits <br />from the South Bend Tribune and Tri-County <br />News that the notice was published in those <br />newspapers on January 1, 2010. <br />Mr. Inks noted that the budget for 2010 is <br />much the same as it was for 2009. The total <br />budget is $1,518,000 for 2010, down from <br />$1,546,000 in 2009. <br />Mr. Varner asked whether all the <br />management fee is represented in this budget. <br />Mr. Inks responded that the only portion of <br />the management fee that is not part of this <br />budget is the $10,000 consulting fee for <br />strategic planning, which will be paid from <br />TIF funds. <br />Ms. Jones opened the public hearing for <br />whoever wished to speak regarding <br />Resolution No. 2628. There was no one who <br />wished to speak. Ms. Jones closed the public <br />hearing for whatever action the Commission <br />wished to take. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2628 <br />appropriating monies for the purpose of <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION NO. 2628 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2628 <br />APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF CERTAIN LOCAL <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2010, AND ENDING <br />15 <br />
