Tuesday, February IOth . , I93I. <br />• <br />0 <br />Board met in regular session at 9 A. Y. All members present. Minutes of <br />meeting held February 3rd., 1931, read and approved. <br />City engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted schedules for redistribution of <br />assessments, which were approved by the Board as follors: <br />Redistribution of assessments for Northwest: 'Trunk Sewer as petitioned for <br />by Jacob & Telesfor and Helen F. Andrysiak. <br />Redistribution of assessments for 20th . , Otreet grade, curb and walk as <br />petitioned for by Adam. Huntsberper et al. <br />Redistribution of assessments for Indiana Avenue Sewer as petitioned for <br />by Madison and N. rgaret A. Miller. <br />Redistribution of assessments for River Park Trunk Sewer No.3 as petitioned <br />for by J. D . Roberts. <br />Redistribution of assessments for cement walk on the west side of Huey <br />Street as pet iti ohed for by Telesfor Andrysiak. <br />City Apineer filed plans and the Board adopted said plans together with <br />the follcwing vacation Resolution No.2422: <br />CoP7 of Vacation resolution No.24M <br />.Resolved by the Boa: rd of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />That it is desirable to vacate the following: <br />2nd. , alley east of St. Peter Street from Almond. Court to South Bend Ave. <br />The following property may to injuriously or "eneficially affected by <br />such vacation: <br />Lots 13. I41 I5 & I8 in d . A. Bugbee's "dd tt ion.. <br />Notice of th is re so lotion shall be published on the I3th . , day of February <br />and on the 20th., day of February I93I in the South Bead Tribune and Yirror. <br />This Board, at it's office in the City Hall on the 3rd., day of March I93I <br />it IO:00 A. Y. , will hear and re cei_ve remonstrance s from all p ersons interested in or <br />affected by these proceedings. <br />Adopted to i s IOth ., day of February I93I. <br />1,, E. Russ." <br />This be ing the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll sh€ ning <br />the awards of damQPe-s.Rand assessments of benefits in the matter cf the opening of <br />Knowblock street fi.,om Lincoln Way West to City Limits under Condemnation Resolution <br />No.2409. <br />in the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no <br />written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, <br />• <br />deci.res to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things <br />;ratified, confirmed and approved end the prnceedings closed. <br />,I <br />The Boe: rd approved the revised plat of Leeper's Second Addition tee the <br />!City <br />of South Bend, Indiana. <br />The Board approved the recommendation of 'm. F. Qualls, for the installation <br />of a 2500 lumen lamp, mast arm construct On, pendent f inure over hear service, at the <br />linter section of Huey a :d l rederi ckson "treets, at a cost of 435.00 per year. <br />WI The Board approved the iecommendation of 1'n. Z. walls, to allow the Indiana <br />Telephone <br />ell Company to do the necessary work in the northwest portion of the City as <br />. <br />;outlined in their petition of February 5th., I93I. <br />1 <br />The Board approved the renewal certificate for the excavation bond in <br />favor of Noah Nalott of Mishawak.n, Indiana, signed by Aetna Casualty and. Ourety, Co. <br />1 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement resolution No.240 <br />for. the grading of Amer 'street from iouth line of Lot 20 "hitcomb and Keller's <br />Addition to` Frederickson Areet. (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />i <br />In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and <br />jno written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, <br />'finds Opt the bensfAs to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed <br />for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same, as reported by the <br />;City Engine er.
