<br />Board met in regular session at 9 A. 11. All members present. Minutes
<br />of meetings held. October I4th., and October .I5th., 11930, read and. approved.
<br />City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed a copy of the contract between the
<br />City of South Bend and .� . T. T`ranberg, contractor for the pavement of the alley north
<br />of Colfax Avenue from Twyckenham Drive to Estiher street under Improvement Resolution
<br />No.2397. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 4*2,047.60.
<br />City Engineer, h. 0. Garay, filed. plans and specifications and the Boarc
<br />ado-pted said plans and specifications together with the follaring Improvement Resolution:
<br />is Improvement Resolution No.2406 for the local sexier on Ford Street from
<br />I'lArnold Street to a point 225 feet east. (See files for espy of resolution.)
<br />In frie above named improvement resolution, the Board hereby orders tha
<br />on the IIth . , day of November 1930, this Board will meet in their off ice in the City Hal
<br />at I0:00 A. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or af-
<br />fected- by said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and
<br />parcels of land liable to be assessed f or said improvement will be equal to the estimate
<br />cost of same as reported by thA"City Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of
<br />sai d. he Pr ing zh a1.1 be published on the 24th . , d ay cf October and on fh e 31st. , da y of
<br />October I930, in the South Bend Tribune and Mirror, according to law.

<br />i 'I'h.is being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll showing
<br />',the awards of damages and assessments of benefits in th.e -matter of the vacation of the
<br />alley east of Woodward Avenue between alley north of Hund_son Avenue, produced. and Woodwar
<br />;;Avenue under vacation Resolution No.2398.
<br />I In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appe=-red and no

<br />1written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premisesf
<br />1,finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the
<br />!� amounts shown on said roll. The Board ,-therefo ze , takes final action on said. assessment
<br />;,roll.. and deel res same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modificati
<br />',land the proceedings closed and the alley vacated.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was ha.d on the assessment roll for the
<br />Ivac�tion of a portion of Carmll Street along the New York Central Right of way under
<br />;'Vacf-�tion Resolution ?`o.2396.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no
<br />written remons'trsnce was filed and the Board, after hearing all persons interested in
<br />said roll, finds that the sever -.1 lots and parcels of IarA have been benefited and damage
<br />in the amounts shorn on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take
<br />final action on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approv-
<br />ed. without modification and the proceedings closed and the street vacated.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the assessment rolls for

<br />In both of the above named assessment rolls., no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, after hearing all persons inter-
<br />ested in said Issessment rolls, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been
<br />. lbenefi ted and damaged in the amounts shown on said rolls. The Board, th ere fore, takes
<br />!final action on said assessment rolls and declares some in all things ratified, confirmed
<br />and approved without mod ifi cation and the proceedings closed and the alleys vacated.

<br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assessment
<br />,roll for the pavement of Lerslake Oourt from 23rd. , St7°eet to 25th., Street under Improve
<br />Invent Resolution ?`+o. 2366.
<br />II In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrp tors appeared and no
<br />'written remonstrances were filed and the Board, after hearing KI persons interested in
<br />said roll and being fully advised in the premises, finds that t'n e several lots and p^reel
<br />;of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment moll. The Board,
<br />• ;therefore, takes find action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things
<br />;ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and. the proceedings closed. The
<br />,Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of finance.
