<br />City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted said plans
<br />together with the follaving vacation resolutions:
<br />Vacation Resolution No.2403 for the vacation of the Ist., alley east
<br />of Leep er Avenue from North Shore 'rive to Leeper Avenue. ( See files for copy of vaca
<br />t ion. )
<br />Vacation Resolution No.2401 for the vacation of the Ist. , alley north
<br />of Lincoln Way West betwen Adams Street and the Ist., alley east of Adams Street.

<br />Vacation Resolution No.2405 for the vacation of the alley west of
<br />Riverside Drive from f-'udson Avenueto the north line of the alley north of Hudson

<br />In all of the above named vacation resolutions , the Board , hereby,
<br />1 orders that on the 5th., day of November 1930, this Board will meet in their office in
<br />the City Pall at 7-I5 P. M. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property may be affected by such vacations. The Board further orders that notices of
<br />said hearings shall be pub1t.shed on the I7th ., day of October and on the 24th. , day of
<br />• I; October 1936, in the South Bend Tribune and Mirror according to :law.

<br />and the Board. adopted said plans and specifications together with the following improve
<br />ment resolutions:

<br />Improvement resolution 11o.2402 for the pavement of the alley west of

<br />In both of the above named Improvement Resolutions, the Board hereby
<br />orders that on the 5th., day of November 1930, this Board will meet in their office in
<br />the City Hall at 7-I5 P. MI . , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property may be affected by said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to
<br />the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvements will
<br />I be equal to the estimated costs of same as reperted by the City -engineer. The Board
<br />further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the I7th. , day of
<br />October and on the 24th. , day of October 1930 in the .-South Beal Tribune and Mirror ac-
<br />coring to law, and that noti ces be mailed. to property owners a ccording to law.

<br />City Engineer, N. G. Wray, filed the tabulations of bids for the pave-
<br />ment of the alley north of Colfax Avenue from `i'wyckenham Drive to Lsther street under
<br />Improvement resolution h8.23979 as follows:

<br />Bids having been received for the pavement of the alley north of '-'olfax
<br />. Avenue from `l`wyckenham Drive to Esther Street under Improvement i esolut inn No.2397, the
<br />Board this I5th., day of October 1930, hereby, rakes a final order for concrete pave-
<br />ment as the type of pavement with which said street small be improved and awards the
<br />contract for said improverent to E. T. Tranberg at his low bid. of $2,047.60.
<br />This being the date set, .hear ing was had on the assessment roll f or the
<br />pavement of giddy street from 6outh Bend Avenue to City Limits under Improvement nesolu-
<br />tion No.2342.
<br />In the above names assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and. no
<br />written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being- fully advised in the premises, finds
<br />• I that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on
<br />said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, take s final Faction on said a ssessment roll
<br />and d^clares said roll in all things ratified, confirned and approved without modifica-
<br />tion. The .hoard now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment rol"_ for the
<br />pavement of Kerslake Court from 23rd. , Street to 25th. , Street under improvement Resolu-
<br />tion Ro.2366.
<br />In the above named assessment roll 1'red Kerslake was present and com-
