F Tuesday, Aurrus t 2 6t h. , 1930. Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All nembers present. 1,11inutes of meeting held Au gust I9th . , 1930 read and approved. The Board signed the contract Frith Albert Construction Company for the pavement of Swy _art Avenue from Indiana Avenue to New Jersey, Indiana and Illinois R. R. in the amount of 05,041.75. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50 0 of the contract price signed by 1vIetropolitan Casualty Company. The Board signed the contrast with Whitcomb and Keller for the grade, cmrb and walk improvement on the north side of Mishawaka Avenge from Longfellow Avenue to east I line of Lot 1015 in Sunnymede 4th., Addition under Improvement Resolution No.2376 in the amount of-02,686.90. The Board s igned and approved same in the amount of �',f 12M,7.97. City Engineer, H. G. '71ray, filed plans, specifications and. estimate and. the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with the following improvement Resolution No.2390: Improvement Resolution No.239 0 for the,pavement of the west one half of Ironwood Drive from south curb line of Lincoln Way East to concrete pavement on Ewing Avenue. ( See files for copy of m solution. ) In the above named improvement resolution, the Board hereby orders that on. the I7th., day of September I930, this Board will meet in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M to hea: and receive remonstrances fro -mall persons whose property may be affected by said improv ment end will decide whether the benefits to tl�e several lots and parcels of land liabike to be assessed: for said improvement will b e equ al to the e stima ted c os t of same as repor ed by the City Eng1neer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the 30th., day of August and on the 6th., day of September 1930 in the Sott Bend Tribune and News Times according to law and that notice,be mailed to property own- ers according to law. The Board signed and approved pay roll claims for various departments in the amount of ��) I4 , 0 38.49 . The Board also signed and approved pay roll claim in the amount of $433.33 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of Track Elevation Fund. Meeting adjourned at I2 o'clock noon.
