IJIlinutes <br />of meetings held July Ist. , and July 3rd. , 1930 , read and approved. <br />The board. approved the following Guarantee Bonds: <br />Guarantee pond of Rocco Simeri for the local sewer in Sorin Street <br />under Improvement 1�esolution.No.2326 in,the amount of $133.37 signed by National Surety <br />Company. <br />Guarantee Bond of Rocco Simeri for the sewer in Ewing Avenue under <br />Improvement Resolution No.2244 in the amount of $1 274.91 signed by National 'jurety Uo. <br />Guarantee Bond of floc co Simeri for the sewer in Wi is on Avenue under <br />Improvement xesoluti on No.2329 in the amount of U34.42 signed by National Surety Co. <br />The Boa.,rd signed the contract with Rocco dimeri for the construction <br />of a server in Carlisle Street under Improvement -Resolution ITo.2374 in 1 e amount of <br />$31490.13. The Board also approved. the construction bond of same for I04 ' of the con- <br />tract price signed by N.,tional Surety Company. <br />The Board approved the ie commendat ion of "*n . F. walls for the <br />instelle.tion of a 2500 lumen light bTeFrcome `street at the first alley west of Meade It., <br />at a cost of $35.00 per year. <br />The follaTi.ng recommendation cf Ism.. F. Malls, with reference to <br />underground conduit to be laic', by the American 1'elepb.one and Telegraph 8ompeny, was <br />approved by the Boa rd : <br />To the Honorable Board of public �vorks <br />Gent le m;n : <br />The work to be done by the American Telephone end Telegraph Company <br />at this time, outlined in attached blue prints, is the laying of underground conduits <br />!; on Scott 'street, from Visyne to T�apier 'street,and on Napier street ffom Scott Street <br />1 to Chapin street, to connect with their manhole existing on Chapin 6treet . <br />'I As Scott Street and Napier utreet are both paved with brick and <br />already in bad condition, I can see no objection to granting the petition covering this <br />l section. <br />Further, the laying of underground. conduits on "ivision Street from <br />Olive Street to the City Limits West. <br />As most of the sidewalk that is now in is in bad condition, I recomn <br />that this retition be granted to lay conduit in the sidewalk area with the understandi <br />that new sidewalk will be put in at the expense of the Telephone Company. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Wm.
